Hannah Sloan has been curating exhibitions of contemporary art and advising private collections since 2005. After a decade working in commercial galleries specializing in 20th-century photography, she established Sloan Projects at Bergamot Station, Santa Monica in 2015. The gallery program featured emerging and mid-career interdisciplinary artists with an emphasis on women artists working in the Los Angeles area. Recently, she transitioned Sloan Projects into Hannah Sloan Curatorial & Advisory, a bespoke curatorial firm dedicated to producing independent projects in commercial galleries and venues throughout the U.S.

Her exhibitions emphasize conceptually engaging and technically exceptional works in various mediums, with a particular focus on Latine artists from Central America. Additionally, Hannah serves as an art advisor for private collections in Los Angeles and New York, placing historically significant artworks into prestigious museum collections worldwide including the J. Paul Getty Museum; LACMA; MoMA, New York; Tate Modern, London; and Bibliothèque National, Paris. In 2024 she established a partnership with satis.FACTORY Casa de Arte in San José, Costa Rica, funding a dynamic range of cross-cultural initiatives including exhibitions, performance, community-based educational workshops, and international artist residencies designed to have a social, political and educational impact on the regional art ecology.

Martin Rauchbauer is a senior Austrian diplomat and a tech governance expert. He came to Djerassi after having served for two years as Austria’s first tech ambassador to Silicon Valley, and more than five years as head of Open Austria, and Austrian consul in San Francisco.

Martin shaped the emerging field of tech diplomacy, and was engaged in transatlantic tech diplomacy and digital human rights. He also developed digital humanism as a strategic focus of Austria’s foreign policy.  Martin initiated Open Austria’s Art + Tech Lab and co-founded the European art + tech + policy initiative The Grid. He is a Berggruen Fellow on Global Governance of Technology, and a Diplo Foundation Fellow on Tech Diplomacy. In 2023, he co-founded the Tech Diplomacy Network with the World Economic Forum in San Francisco.
